Verizon Has Bought Up Yahoo’s Assets For $4.8 Billion
Well, well, well. How have the mighty fallen. After a five-month long auction, Verizon has lapped up Yahoo’s assets for $4.83 billion. The sale excludes Yahoo’s cash, and its stake in Yahoo Japan and Alibaba. Moving forward, they’ll bundle it with AOL and “help accelerate Verizon’s revenue stream in digital advertising”.
